The Local Government Unit of Danao, thru its Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, conducted a Training on Empowerment and Reaffirmation of Paternal Abilities (ERPAT) last October 21, 2022.
Participated by LGU Danao male employees, the program was to educate fathers on their roles in sustaining a nurturing and caring environment for their children and spouses.
MSWDO Chita Mae Torrejas welcomed the guest speakers and participants while Hon. Thelma Duavis and Mrs. Dahlia Montecina gave their insights and rationale for the training respectively. Mrs. Imelda Gimena, the Gender and Development Focal Person, discussed the differentiation of sex and gender roles.
Mayor Jose G. Cepedoza emphasized the father’s responsibilities as a provider and a role model for his family.
Mr. Danilo Labrador, Pantawid Parent Leader, shared his insights on the ERPAT Training and a testimony from Mr. Zosemilito Digal, Pantawid Model Family 2018. Pastor Nazerr Ayenza, Church Pastor of the Jesus Saves Bible Baptist Church- JSBBC-Danao, conveyed the spiritual input on good parenting.
